Liza Ristow
Patient Advocate/Nutrition Assistant

Before I came to work for Dr. Link, I had been his patient for nearly ten years. In that time, he helped me with several health issues and taught me proper and healthful eating habits. My health was greatly improved through his advice and the chiropractic care he gave me.

But it was in 2007, when I came to him with a rather severe reaction to a drug called Levaquin that he helped me most. I was very, very sick … bedridden, in fact, with multi-systemic involvement. He used Nutrition Response Testing to provide just the right supplements to begin rebuilding and repairing my body. His work with me had me out of my bed within a month and a half of beginning the treatment. And a year later, Dr Link asked me to come to work for him as a nutrition assistant. I believed in him and Nutrition Response Testing so much that I happily said, ‘yes’!

Now I am doing the testing myself, along with other small duties. And will be certified in January as an Intermediate tester. One never knows what kind of turn life will take…

Away from work, I am a mother of five children, a ‘sometimes homemaker’, and an aspiring writer/editor. I love to read, watch a good movie, and cook. I also love to grow things! My garden is my haven!

Vicki Mann
Office Manager

I have lived in East Central Illinois my entire life. After High School graduation, I worked in a couple of factories for a while. I wasn’t happy there, so in 1999 I changed careers.

I worked in several medical offices before coming to work for Dr. Link in 2006 as a Chiropractic Assistant and Office Manager.

Some of my duties include filing health insurance, placing orders, giving therapies such as ultrasound, electric stimulation or massage; helping Dr. Link with chiropractic exams, developing x-rays, and I am an indirect tester for Nutrition Response. I especially enjoy talking with and helping the patients.

In my spare time I like to go to car shows, drag races, movies, and spend time with my family and friends.

I have lived in East Central Illinois most of my life, with the exception of college and early married years. I graduated with a Bachelor of Science Degree from Southern Illinois University, married, and raised two children who have blessed me with four grandchildren.

My past work experiences include Office Manager for the Chamber of Commerce, Assistant Director of the Danville Recreation Dept.,

Library Aide/Reading Specialist in Hoopeston Middle School for 10 ½ years, and Director of the Hoopeston Multi-Agency for 8 years.

I have been a certified group fitness instructor since 1987, and I enjoy working with all ages to encourage them to remain active as they mature.

Dr. Link’s office gives me the opportunity to use a variety of my skills and talents, and I love working with the people.

I came to Dr. Link at 13 for problems with my neck. I had a lot of headaches, trouble running, and I couldn’t use my right arm normally. This had been going on as long as I could remember. My mom had been going to Dr. Link for awhile and she suggested we go to him for help. He examined me and put me on a 1-year treatment plan of adjustments. I started feeling better immediately, and by the year’s end, my x-rays showed that my neck and arm were normal.

Then, when my mom got sick from a drug reaction, Dr. Link introduced Nutrition Response Testing to us. I watched him treat my mom with it and she got better! She went to work for Dr. Link in January, and in May, so did I.

I’m an indirect tester, a janitor, and the office assistant. I help get the newsletters, flyers, and birthday cards ready for mailing.

I love working at Milford Chiropractic Clinic with my co-workers and the patients. I’m grateful for the experience.
