Fractured Vertebra

Hello, my name is Gene.

On August 8, 2005, I was in an automobile accident. The car rolled three times and I was hanging upside down in the seatbelt. I hit the dash with both knees, twisted my back, and had a contusion on the left side of my neck.

I was in the hospital for two days. They took x-rays of my back, knees, and neck. I was told that everything checked out okay that nothing was broken. I was sent to rehab for six weeks and then to a chiropractor for four weeks. I still wasn’t able to get up from a chair, kneel or bend over without severe pain. I couldn’t sleep or do any of the things I enjoyed doing.

Finally, I had an MRI. It showed a fractured vertebra. I decided after all this time, to change doctors and chiropractor. My brother-in-law suggested that I go to Dr. Link. After four or five treatments, my attitude and disposition changed when I started to feel better. I could sleep better and do the things that I enjoyed doing. I do the exercises twice a day and walk over a mile a day.

My wife and family have noticed a change in my attitude. I am now able to work in my wood shop and do my artwork. My pain went from an eight or nine on a scale from one to ten to a two in the last twelve weeks, thanks to Dr. Link.
